In a separate interview, Robin jokingly said that the reason the couple does not have any children is because they see significantly less of each other. 

It’s because of Meade’s unconventional work hours. As a morning anchor, Meade gets to work by 3:30 – 4 am in the morning.

This requires her to sleep at around 6 in the evening. As per Meade, her husband only comes home from running his business at around 8 pm.

Meade says that she only gets to talk properly and sit down with Tim on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Robin Meade began her career in journalism when she joined WMFD-TV. However, this may not come as a surprise because Robin’s first line of career was not journalism.

That led her to compete in The Miss American pageant. Robin came out as a semi-finalist.

Later, Meade developed an interest in journalism and joined WMFD-TV as a reporter. During her initial days, Meade worked in similar smaller networks and gathered experience. 

Meade also went to cover the 1996 Olympics game while working in WMAQ-TV.
